Corporate Planning Department defines the Corporate Goals of the organization  and  plays the role of “Liaison Department “ with Government of India  and various agencies. It channelizes funds from International Agencies under externally aided projects.

Preparation of Banks’ Annual Business Plan
   
The department undertakes the coordination of annual planning exercise of various functions of the bank to evolve the Annual Business Plan.

Liaison with GoI / Planning Commission and provide information to them on all matters relating to agricultural credit.
 
Attend all issues / correspondence / meetings, etc. with various ministries of GoI, Planning Commission especially in matters relating to agricultural credit.

Liaison with RBI on matters relating to planning rural credit
   
Periodically interact with RBI on issues relating to agriculture and rural development in order to facilitate policy matters and removal of difficulties.

Liaison with International Agencies
   
Liaison with international donor agencies for seeking assistance for projects of relevance to NABARD. All meetings with donor agencies, negotiation of the contractual obligations, etc. are coordinated by the Department.

Furnish information to Parliament and Parliament Committees and act as nodal department to coordinate visits of Parliamentary Committees.

Arranging periodic meet with banks to discuss crucial issues relating to agricultural credit and policy thereto.

Monitoring the flow of ground level credit to agriculture and rural sector.
   
Collection, Collation and monitoring of data relating to ground level agricultural and rural credit.  Under the Farm Credit policy package announced by the GoI, NABARD has been made the nodal agency to monitor the progress under the package.
