  • Nine meetings of SLIC held at state level
  • 185 DLIC meetings held in various districts

Assessment of Recapitalisation Assistance

Special Audit of Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS)

Special Audit conducted in 2,390 PACS out of 2,441 PACS affiliated to 19 CCBs. Respective DLICs have recommended recapitalisation assistance on behalf of these PACS to SLIC. In 2006, the 2,441 PACS in the state have been reorganized into 586. Total financial package assessed and recommended by SLIC for release so far is detailed below: (Rs. crore)

Cooperative Reforms

Haryana Cooperative Societies Act 1984 amended through Haryana Cooperative Societies (Amendment) Act, 2007 and Official Gazette issued on 05 October 2007.

Introduction of CAS/MIS

Common Accounting System (CAS) and Management Information System (MIS) for PACS and Manual on CAS/MIS have been circulated amongst PACS by the RCS. The printing of registers for CAS is under process.

Computerisation of CAS&MIS in PACS

Tendering process initiated for software development and training and technical bids have been scrutinised.

HRD Initiatives

- HARCO Bank Staff Training Centre, Panchkula, identified as nodal agency to coordinate and organise training programmes for capacity building in the state.
- 42 Master Trainers trained by BIRD, Lucknow on training modules for PACS Secretaries and elected members.
- Master Trainers imparted training to 3234 PACS Secretaries/functionaries and 752 PACS Board members.
