UPNRM-Programme Management Units
In order to give focused attention and augment the pace of implementation of UPNRM, three Programme Management Units (PMUs) at Bangalore, Pune and Lucknow (representing three potential zones) have been set up by NABARD & GTZ. The role of the PMUs is to assist Regional Offices in planning, organizing, marketing, implementing, monitoring & review of the programme in their respective area of operation. The specific tasks involves identifying, developing, designing, formulating appraising, monitoring, reviewing, studying impacts, etc. of the projects under both traditional as well as PPP approaches in the NRM sector. Regional Offices or the interested agencies are requested to avail the services of these PMUS for UPNRM projects.
