Rate of Interest
Revision in Interest Rates on Schematic Refinance
The interest rates on refinance for all eligible purposes have been revised with effect from 19 February 2009. The revised rates are as under :-
- Commercial Banks - 9% p.a.

Co-operative Banks & RRBs - 8.5%
Special relaxation of 50 basis points has been extended for NE Region, hill states and A&N Islands in respect of financing made by Commercial Banks.
