Revision in Interest Rates on Schematic Refinance

The interest rates on refinance for all eligible purposes have been revised with effect from 26 May 2008. The revised rates are as under :-

i)	Commercial Banks – 9.5 % p.a.

ii)	SCBs / SCARDBs / RRBs / ADFCs / PUCBs / NEDFi – 9 % p.a.

iii)	Interest rates on refinance on loans to MFIs for on lending to clients will be at 3 % less than that charged by banks subject to a minimum rate of 9.5 % for CBs and 9 % for RRBs.

iv)	Interest rates on refinance for NE Region, Sikkim, A&N Islands, Himachal Pradesh, J&K and Uttarakhand are 9 % for all the agencies for all eligible purposes.
