• Capacity building including training and awareness programmes on marketing
• Quality control
• Technology upgradation
• Design development and packaging design
• Branding ,labeling, preparation of catalogues
• Publicity including data building and documentation
• Organising women and common marketing facilities
• Setting up of showrooms, sales outlets, mobile vans
• Organisation /participation in exhibition and melas etc.

Type of Assistance
NABARD provides 100% refinance to banks on the credit component. The quantum of promotional assistance to development agencies, is to the tune of 25% of the project outlay of Rs.10 lakh or 25% minimum sales turnover,whichever is lower.The ratio of grant to refinance is 1:3.
