  • To guide and monitor all financial, developmental and policy related aspects of the subsidiaries of NABARD, institutions/companies whereequity investment were made and invest in AIF
  • To make new strategic investments in consultation with concerned Departments, if any, as also to optimise return on investments
  • To explore enhancement or reduction of investments in existing strategic investments
  • To make nominations for participation in the Boards of existing subsidiaries/companies
  • To periodically monitor existing investments
  • To review policy for Investment in Alternative Investment Funds and Strategic Investments in consonance with SEBI Regulations, RBI guidelines etc

The cases are initiated by the officers in Grades A/B/C level, and are analysed/checked/supervised by officers at Grades D/F level. The proposals are screened by the Screening Committee. Strategic Investment proposals above `1 crore are approved/sanctioned by Board of Directors.
(v) Norms set by it for the discharge of its functions
The proposals depending upon the complexities / technicalities / amount are processed within a month for each investment after receipt of information complete in all aspects.
(vi) Rules, regulations, instructions, manuals and records, held by it or under its control or used by its employees for discharging its functions.
