1. Objective and Functions
Introduction
NABARD Consultancy Services (NABCONS) started functioning as a company w.e.f. 17 November 2003 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of NABARD. NABARD Consultancy Services (NABCONS) leverages on the core competence of NABARD in the areas of agriculture and rural development, especially multidisciplinary projects, banking, institutional development, infrastructure, capacity building, etc., internalized over 20 years.

Organisational set up
NABCONS functions through its Head Office at Mumbai and 29 Principal State Representatives who are also the Chief General Managers (CGM)/ Officer In Charges (OIC) of NABARD.
a) The Chief Executive Officer, looks after overall functioning of the company and decisions relating to day-to-day operations. At present, there are 15 officers posted in Nabcons from NABARD. List of officers working in Head Office and their duties and responsibilities are given below :
