Bank Accounts of Companies Struck Off from the Registrar of 
Companies – Submission of Information to Govt. of India
 
As you are aware, the Ministry of Law, Justice and Corporate Affairs (MCA), GoI, has advised the banks to take “immediate steps” to put restrictions on bank accounts of “struck-off” companies and banks have been advised to go in for enhanced diligence while dealing with companies in general and not only on “struck off” companies. The Ministry has advised that all banks should furnish the data on Companies struck off from the Registrar of Companies to MCA in the following format in excel.

 2. Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) have uploaded the list of Struck-off Companies under “Member Login” area of its website www.iba.org.in and banks may download the same from the website with the following login credentials:
User ID: MCAROC
Password: CHi@m1N%3
3. The Ministry has reviewed the progress in submission of information by banks on the list of struck-off companies provided by Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) and expressed concern over the poor submission of information by banks. 
4. The above information has to be sent directly to MCA immediately at mail id: mm.juneja@gov.in, narendra.bhola@mca.gov.in with copy to ananta.sethi@mca.gov.in,  jsfil­dfs@gov.in immediately. Banks not having any such accounts, may submit NIL statement. 
5. MCA, GoI also has asked the banks for the names of persons authorised to operate the accounts, with details if any, and share the same with MCA. 
4. Please acknowledge the receipt to our Regional Office and a copy of the reply sent to MCA, GoI may be sent to our Regional Office.
