Ms. Jayashree Raghunandan, is an IAS officer of 1987 batch. She has over three decades of experience in development and governance. Ms. Raghunandan has recently taken charge as Additional Chief Secretary / Director General, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (Training), Government of Tamil Nadu. She has also served as District Collector of Tiruvallur district of Tamilnadu.

She did her MBA from Delhi University. Her areas of expertise include Empowerment of Women, Educational & Developmental programs, Child protection, Change Management and Sustainable Development Goals. She has worked in different capacities in several departments of Government of Tamilnadu over the years. She was Managing and Executive Director, Corporation for Development of Women. She was also General Manager, Tamilnadu Milk Producers Cooperative Marketing Federation. She was serving as Additional Chief Secretary, Planning and Development Department, Government of Tamilnadu before taking up the present responsibility.
