Munsyari Rajma

Munsiyari Rajma derives its name from the town of Munsiyari, nested at an elevation of 2,200 m in the lap of the Himalayas. This region's rajma is known for its exceptional nutritional composition, cooking quality, taste, and aroma.

The produce

Rajma is typically planted in the spring and as a main kharif pulse. Compared to other types, Munsiyari kidney beans are bigger and have a distinctive off-white hue. They are renowned for their rich protein, high fiber, and delightful flavor. In areas with maize and potatoes, rajma is grown as a mixed crop. This little kidney bean has a distinct yet delicate scent, sweetness, and texture.
