A Futuristic irrigation project funded by NABARD in Gujarat through the State Government.
The project will channelize 1 Million Acre Feet of flood water into 115 existing dams of the drought prone
Saurashtra region through a series of 4 Link Pipelines Project.
> Excess water from South and Central Gujarat overflowing into the sea as wastage is now being diverted
to benefit the dams of Saurashtra where there is scarcity due to lack of rains.
> Irrigation potential of 104,616 ha created in 5 districts.
> Irrigation potential of 84,029 ha to be created by March 2017 in 7 districts.
