NABARD has been acting as the nodal/pass through agency for release of subsidy under various schemes of Government of India since 1999-2000. The schemes of Government of India for which NABARD is currently channelizing subsidy/interest subvention are as under:

(i) Capital Investment Subsidy Schemes

• 1. Agri-Clinics and Agri-Business Centers
• 2. New Agricultural Marketing Infrastructure Scheme a sub-scheme of ISAM

(ii) Interest Subvention Schemes of GoI

• 1. Modified Interest Subvention Scheme for Crop Loans
• 2. Interest Subvention to Small and Marginal farmers against negotiable warehouse receipt
• 3. Interest subvention on working capital to Animal Husbandry and Fisheries
• 4. Interest subvention to women SHGs under DAY-NRLM
• 5. Interest subvention schemes for sugar mills
• 6. Agricultural Infrastructure Fund (AIF) Scheme
