• NABARD sanctioned a project to popularise DSR technology which utilises only 50 per cent of water required in the traditional method
• Farmers selected and educated about DSR technology
• Project implemented under supervision of agriculture scientists

THE IMPACT

• 150 acres across 5 villages of Kaithal district covered under the project
• Project covered by the media as an inspirational story
• Technology being replicated in 15 new villages, covering 750 farmers owning over 3,000 acres
• Better crop price discovery
