• NABARD sanctioned a unique project under RIDF for setting up 50 polyhouses
• Capacity-building support provided for promotion of polyhouses

THE IMPACT

• Cultivation of carnations, red and yellow capsicums, cherry tomatoes and seedless cucumbers by 35 farmers
• Better and regular returns for farmers
• Other farmers in the area motivated to adopt polyhouse farming
