NABARD and Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) entered into an agreement to collaborate in several areas of common interest to promote sustainable and climate-smart agriculture. An MoU was signed in this regard by Dr. Harsh Kumar Bhanwala, Chairman, NABARD and Dr. Trilochan Mohapatra, Director General, ICAR at Krishi Bhawan in New Delhi on 13 December 2019. The two institutions will work together for technical capacity building of channel partners under NABARD programmes, technology transfer for climate resilient farming systems, farm mechanisation, water conservation, agri incubation, agri enterprises for rural youth, etc.
