members. They need to be savings products which are flexible and offered at
their doorstep. BC is the obvious choice for the same.
Lack of awareness of products:
Another very important fact that we realised
was that several members were not aware of the presence of financial products.
Often the extra money they earned was simply kept at home. One way out of this
to make their peers discuss with them the present options as they trust their peers
more than any formal financial education.
