(iii) Procedure followed in the decision-making process, including channels of supervision and accountability.
The decision-making process followed in the department is as per procedure indicated in respective guidelines/ instructions of the programmes/ schemes as applicable from time to time.
&There is a clear-cut demarcation of roles, responsibilities and discretionary powers amongst different supervisory levels and the accountability is fixed up accordingly.
All decisions taken are subject to review by Internal Audit, the Statutory Auditors appointed by GOI as well as RBI inspection.
Sanctions are accorded by the delegated committees.

Norms set for the discharge of duties originate from extant policy guidelines, circulars, manuals, etc., as applicable in-

Policy framed as per corporate office guidelines, subject to approval of Board of Directors consisting of representatives of GoI / RBI.
Operational guidelines are approved by the concerned committees. Revision of guidelines involve consultation/ feedback from ROs, stake holders etc.
