Functions and Duties: 
The department deals with the following loan products:
1.  Direct Refinance Assistance to Cooperative Banks (DRA)  
2.  Short Term Credit Facility to Civil Supplies Corporations/ Marketing Federations/ Milk Unions (CFF)
3. Infrastructure Financing Assistance under NABARD Infrastructure Development Assistance (NIDA)
4. Financial Assistance under Dairy Processing & Infrastructure Development Fund (DIDF)
5. Financial Assistance to State Governments under Fisheries and Aquaculture Infrastructure Development Fund (FIDF)
6. Financial Assistance to State Governments under Rural Infrastructure Assistance to State Governments (RIAS)
(ii) The powers and duties of its officers and employees

Officers and employees in the department dealing with the loan products are engaged in appraisal, monitoring and review of the loan proposals and sanctions under the above mentioned products, as per the delegation of powers approved by the Board.
(iii) Procedure followed in the decision making process, including channels of supervision and accountability
The cases are initiated by the officers in Grades A/B/C level with necessary analysis, and are checked/supervised by officers at Grades D/E level.
Proposals under all the products are sanctioned as per Board approved Delegation of Powers.
(iv) Norms set by it for the discharge of its functions The proposals depending upon the complexities/ technicalities/amount are processed within the reasonable time frame for each credit product.
(v) Rules,regulations,instructions,manuals and records,held by it or under its control or used by its employees for discharging its functions. Each line of credit has a set of rules/instructions which are codified into manuals/operational guidelines/SOPs for internal reference.
